Sa Trinxa (Trincha), Ibiza
by translucent: 09-21-2001

Ibiza is known for having several spelling variations for some of it's locations. Sa Trincha is one of them. If you ask any local or look at any travel guide, you'll probably find this ultra-chill beach bar referred to as "Sa Trinxa." Oddly enough, when you finally do arrive at this Salinas paradise, you'll probably notice that the spray painted sign above it is spelled "Sa Trincha." Go figure.

Sa Trincha is a patio bar situated near a beautiful "clothing optional" beach and is frequented by an in-crowd of models, jet-setters, seasoned clubbers, hippies, locals and occasional tourists like us. Everyone is there to relax and to listen to the chillout house beats of resident DJ Jonathan (Grey).
Sa Trincha is an ideal place to recover from a night of debauchery and gluttonous consumption of disco biscuits. Unlike the festive Bora Bora, this place is laid back enough that you'll actually feel well rested after partying here.

Some Advice: Rent a car to get here or depend on infrequent busses or the kindness of strangers to get home. Also, try the fantastic calamari and finally get rid of those tan lines on your ass.
