Andrew Breitbart dies: Big Journalism founder was 43

Conservative activist and publisher Andrew Breitbart has died at 43, his Web site Big Journalism reports.


Andrew Breitbart. (Brendan Smialowski - GETTY IMAGES) Joel Pollak, editor of the site, confirmed the news to BlogPost.

Breitbart passed away unexpectedly shortly after midnight in Los Angeles, according to Big Journalism. No cause of death was disclosed.

Breitbart was an outspoken conserative commentator and Internet entrepreneur who helped launch the Huffington Post and is behind the Breitbart media network. He was known for publishing controversial exposes, criticized as “ambush journalism,” that targeted liberal figures and causes.

“Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love,” Big Journalism writer Larry Solov wrote on the site.

I would be willing to enlist, unlike you, point proven .I said it in 2001 and my stance hasn't changed, If somebody attacks American on our soil and gets on tv or net and says come get us you Yankee p*ssies. I would join the military in 2 seconds.
