"You're going to need a bigger boat"

That line from "Jaws" suddenly made a lot of sense to me last weekend. Cricket II, the boat that the Orca from "Jaws" was based on turned up at my dad's marina in Mystic, CT. The boat used to belong to charter captain Frank Mundus, whom Peter Benchley used as his inspiration for his book's character, Quinn. Cricket II was recently sold at auction, after Frank's death last year. Considering that this boat was a Montauk landmark, the locals over there were none to happy when it was sold. After all the news reports of the sale died down, no one knew what happened to the boat. Yet there it was, at my dad's marina. Gotta say, in person, it's much smaller than one would think.
