i am about to pass out but this will be a quick dual review:
d:fuse, 2tribes and suneel at club five was a kickin' time! suneel came right outta the blocks at midnight with hard house but dialed it back just a notch for d to come on and the lord said let it be good. way not trancey like his last visit to five but definitely house. good house. happy in my pants house. and then he turned it a little tribal to introduce the closers, 2TRIBES! ray and barrett ripped down five and built it back up. great great set for the night, shut it down at five. good to see a great crowd out: ruben, pixie, frost, crank, rocky, teriaki, catalyst, mattaknox, the boston horde, and a guest appearance by damone! those of you who went to sander k at nation, hope you enjoyed it coz you missed out! thanks to all who came to the afterparty and didn't destroy my shit.
kept it on the down low for the next nite but was definitely a great nite to enjoy and savor da flavor sober: groovefire and royce haven at andalu! actually showed up for an osta gig, imagine that! he was hopping all over the place, jumpin' up and down like some house of pain track... and i think he was sober too! the groovefire guys, for the record, unleashed saddam hussein's cache of weapons of mass destruction on andalu and laid waste to everyone who showed up. good gravy! todd with his numerous jesus poses, phil with da funk, and mike with the sick sick sickest scratches seen outside the ones some girl left on ruben's back... holy shit! the boston peeps did indeed show up and reprezanted. half the place was fulla beantown faithful, i thought we were at a pedro signing. the only thing missing was teabags5 and his tiesto t-shirt. no particular genres were dominant, the set touched on the whole ferris wheel of house and kept people on their feet... good times! again, gn membership cowboy'd up: ruben, tinybutterfly!!! vicman, frost, pixie, jamiroguy, hook, royce, groovefiretodd, stymie, pudding and the right bleacher crowd from fenway.
my first nite out in a while and it was a good 'un! thanks again to the boston folx who tripped it down to dc! glad to have ya!
"it's got a funky beat... and i can BUG OUT to it!"

sounds like you all had an awesome time!
D-A-N-N-Y
Danny Howells Quote from his LAST DANCE party at ARC:
"To all of you who came down for my final arc party, I couldn't have asked for a greater way to end what has been the most amazing and unforgettable residency. That was EXACTLY the party I was hoping for ... the Wizard waving his orb from the speaker, the "Danny" girls on the other speaker,... But all I wanted to say was thankyou for being a MAJOR part of what has been an amazing couple of years for me - .... Anyway, I'll leave it at that, but again - thankyou SO MUCH to all of you, I'll miss seeing you every month but, as I've said many times, New York is my favourite city, so don't expect me to ever stay away too long - because I won't.
Much love. Danny xox"

Sounds like a great weekend of music! Groovefire always rips it all kinds of SIK! Sorry I couldn't make it down for this one, but when the next tim comes around, I'm in there like swimwear!

Ruben, Royce, Ray, hook, vic, kken, tiny, and everyone else we hung out with this weekend, thanks you all so much for everything. We had the absolute best time and seriously cannot wait for a return visit. Friday night @ FIVE was insane. What a baddass club, it destroys anything we have up here, so enjoy it. Ray, you guys freakin’ rocked, nice work. And thanks for your hospitality afterwards. Royce and Ruben, thanks for hooking up Andalu for us. Killer party you guys have going on down there, God damn.
Hope to see everyone again very soon. Love you all longtime.

Lets watch Dom promise joining the Armed Forces, then back out 5 minutes later.
DOM:
I would be willing to enlist, unlike you, point proven .I said it in 2001 and my stance hasn't changed, If somebody attacks American on our soil and gets on tv or net and says come get us you Yankee p*ssies. I would join the military in 2 seconds.
Al-Qaeda isnt a country moron. They are a global organizations of scumbags.
First of all bin ladon didn't take credit for attacks in 2001, he denied it until 2004. When was he elected president of Afghanistan?2000?If so hes had a great 11 run so far... Considering hes been rumored to be in Pakistan for years, he doesn't fit into either of my criteria's.
Dom's daily to do list:
1- Kiss his "wife" on his way out of his house
2- Blame everything on Obama
3- Give no credit to Obama, even when Bin Laden, al-Awlaki, and Gaddafi were taken care of
3- Dump all his work on his secretary
4- Twitter, facebook for 2 hours
5- Post on Yankee/Jets/Knicks blogs
6 - Read conservative blogs and watch Fox
7- Select items from said sources that he lift and pass on as his own
8- Get schooled on his ignorance everyday
9- Spray tan so he's ready to club 24/7/365 for the next epic party that he will attend

Sorry we missed the fun, but when we started talking about leaving the party we were at, the six girls in bikinis in the hot tub all looked up at us and begged us to stay.
True story.
OK, maybe they didn't beg, but they were pretty damn convincing!

Hahaha, oof, tall order there. My opening set was a bunch of new deep house tunes, dunno what they are exactly, I gotta examine my record crate. I do remeber the first 3 tracks I started my second set with:
Matt Jamison – "Sexy Lady" [Update] (the electro mix, whatever it is)
Ericke – "Make You Smile" [Little Mountain] (original)
Sleepfreaks – "Light Jockey" [Sumsonic]
Other than that, hmmm, there was one tune with a yellow label and another with a red label, I remember that for sure. I'll try to figure it out a little better tonight.
