Dubspot: DJ, VJ, & Electronic Music School Open House This Weekend with Honey Dijon

NYC's Dubspot : DJ, VJ, & Electronic music schools is hosting an Open House for prospective students this weekend with special guest DJ Honey Dijon. During the Open House there will be instructors on hand to answer questions and students can test out the equipment and the top-notch facilities. Miss Honey Dijon says, “I’m not only the special guest DJ, I’m also a student” after taking the Intro to Ableton workshop. She is currently gearing up for the launch of her new label Digital Disco and beginning work on her debut artist album slated for Fall 2007.

Intro to DJing classes are held every Tuesday night, Thursday night and Saturdays. Electronic Music Production classes start March 7th (evening) and March 14th (daytime). Weekend workshops are also available. Registration is now open for March 2007 classes.

Dubspot is NYC’s first comprehensive DJ, VJ and Electronic Music Production school in the uber-chic Meat Packing District opened in December 2006. In this age of DJ culture and electronic music, it’s a must for any budding DJ or producer to get familiarize oneself with the tools and new technologies. After all this is NYC, where everybody wants to be a DJ!
