Amsterdam Dance Event

Interlab Music makes waves with ADE Interlab Sessions: The Pirates of Cadenza

Dutch dance consultancy Interlab Music returns to the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) for a triumphant second appearance, back with the innovative Interlab Sessions showcase format. This year they highlight truly sophisticated electronic music on board of Pure-liner, the ultimate party experience boat.

The second Interlab ADE event takes place on Thursday October 20th in partnership with Swiss
dance business hybrid Cadenza. Combining a label, booking agency and party planning division,
they are famed for their unique party concepts. For 2011 they have worked with Interlab Music to
create ‘Pirates of Cadenza’. The night combines organic and tribal tech-house with showmanship and spectacle, taking revellers to a new plane on board of the ship.

Luciano and his sister started Cadenza in 2003. The brand has been carefully cultivated - their emphasis is on careful planning and execution and it shows. Their ‘Pirates of Cadenza’ concept is the latest in a series of events that fuse entertainment and experience to create cerebral nights for the discerning
dance enthusiast.

The line-up includes Reboot (live), Michel Cleis, Robert Dietz, Lee van Dowski and Desyn Masiello.
Reboot’s visceral sets are deeply enthralling, built on what he describes as ‘complex polyrhythmic
architecture.’ Hailing from Frankfurt, he’s been making waves globally recently with his driving, organic tech-house.

Also on the line-up is Robert Dietz, playing funky techno with a playful edge. Michel Cleis and Lee
van Dowski join from Switzerland, Cleis bringing deep tribal flavours. Dowski, who describes himself
as ‘a trickster who spreads his mischief via long, undulating DJ sets and bewilderingly funky releases,’ promises an intriguing performance. Completing the line-up is international touring DJ Desyn Masiello.

The Pure-liner is a cruising event venue built in the 1930s. Today it has been completely overhauled,
refurbished and re-imagined as a sleek party vessel that accommodates 600 revellers. As an ADE venue it is part of the leading electronic music conference and the world's biggest club festival for electronic music.
