YES, YES, YES!
Everything she said and more, what a fun nite and Chris is in one word, NASTY! His base lines are just amazing, the layering of music and his mixing are flawless! It's like everytime I heard this nasty baseline, he would then bring in another one that was even better then the last, his music just builds you into this frenzy. I'm so glad that I went to this, now I know that I made the right choice, so much fun! At one point in the night I go to the balcony so that I can watch Chris, he has three turntables going and two lap tops, I was like
And the crowd at Avalon was really great, lots of room to dance, and everyone that was there was there for Chris, really great to see!
And TB I love you!
I'm walking in the garden of good and evil.

Lets watch Dom promise joining the Armed Forces, then back out 5 minutes later.
DOM:
I would be willing to enlist, unlike you, point proven .I said it in 2001 and my stance hasn't changed, If somebody attacks American on our soil and gets on tv or net and says come get us you Yankee p*ssies. I would join the military in 2 seconds.
Al-Qaeda isnt a country moron. They are a global organizations of scumbags.
First of all bin ladon didn't take credit for attacks in 2001, he denied it until 2004. When was he elected president of Afghanistan?2000?If so hes had a great 11 run so far... Considering hes been rumored to be in Pakistan for years, he doesn't fit into either of my criteria's.
Dom's daily to do list:
1- Kiss his "wife" on his way out of his house
2- Blame everything on Obama
3- Give no credit to Obama, even when Bin Laden, al-Awlaki, and Gaddafi were taken care of
3- Dump all his work on his secretary
4- Twitter, facebook for 2 hours
5- Post on Yankee/Jets/Knicks blogs
6 - Read conservative blogs and watch Fox
7- Select items from said sources that he lift and pass on as his own
8- Get schooled on his ignorance everyday
9- Spray tan so he's ready to club 24/7/365 for the next epic party that he will attend

I honestly had my doubts about whether it was going to be a good party when I first got to Avalon. Some local DJ was spinning commercial EDM to a commercial crowd. The place was full of kids so young that their parents must have dropped them off at the club. Suddenly, someone got on the mic and announced that there is $500 to be awarded to the winner of the “hot skirt” contest. A bunch of skanky little girls got up on stage, some of them even wearing pants. Some girls resorted to faux bisexuality, others pulled their skirts down and two sistas shook their booties rap video style. The expected winner was some young girl who actually looked like she might have been a runway model. It’s not very hard to judge a hot skirt contest when one of the girls has legs longer than the entire height of most of the other contestants.
Fortunately, Liebing came on around 2am and started the ass kicking. I was sure that the place would empty out as soon as he took over for the commercial DJ, since most of the crowd looked like they had no idea who Chris was or ever heard techno for that matter. I was pleasantly surprised. Although a bunch of people did leave, the majority stuck around and got into it. It worked out perfectly since there was plenty of room to dance. I guess Liebing is a good DJ to be initiated into techno with because his style tends to be more bass-oriented than repetitive dry beat with some shrill noises like other forms of techno. I would even go as far as classifying most of what he spins as “bass-tech” (yes, my own contribution to the ridiculously vast array of existing sub-genres). Chris’ style is probably more accessible to people used to listening to house. Speaking of house, Chris dropped an actual house track towards the end of his set and it fit flawlessly with the rest of what he was spinning all night. All in all, I’ve yet to be disappointed by this guy. Chris Liebing definitely deserves his position as one of my top five favorite DJ’s.

didnt plan to go, but met up with a friend and wanted to grab some drinks before heading to the roxy. have had good luck with getting really strong drinks at avalon, and needed some time to convince my friend to head to the roxy with us. thankfully the music from the opening dj was so bad it was all the convincing she needed seriously there is so much local talent in nyc and local techno djs rarely get heard it was such a joke to have that rookie in the booth. had to laugh when he thought all the people cheering for liebing were cheering for him
the short skirt contest was awesome
wish liebing came on a bit sooner. wanted to head over to the roxy, but after hanging around for a while i wanted to hear atleast 1 track before heading out.
was standing on the balcony with ruben and he pointed liebing out to me when he arrived in the booth. i turn around 2 minutes later and there is gina in the booth talking with him
good to see everyone for a bit. even was subjected to a few quality ass grabs

glad you had a good time! hopefully next time (if there is a next time) it won't conflict with my future husband's set...

Danny Howells Quote from his LAST DANCE party at ARC:
"To all of you who came down for my final arc party, I couldn't have asked for a greater way to end what has been the most amazing and unforgettable residency. That was EXACTLY the party I was hoping for ... the Wizard waving his orb from the speaker, the "Danny" girls on the other speaker,... But all I wanted to say was thankyou for being a MAJOR part of what has been an amazing couple of years for me - .... Anyway, I'll leave it at that, but again - thankyou SO MUCH to all of you, I'll miss seeing you every month but, as I've said many times, New York is my favourite city, so don't expect me to ever stay away too long - because I won't.
Much love. Danny xox"
