Region: NY
Subject: Bête Noire - The Black Beast
Event Information: Embrace the uncomfortable and let the dark out.

The Black Beast is in the mirror; it's in me and in you. It is that carnal aspect of the shadow self, the thing you wish you didn't see. All too often we hide our darkness, avoiding spaces of the mind that bring us discomfort...

Not on this night.

Here, your inner animal is revered. Explore the turns of your mind as the creatures of your subconscious expose you to the peculiar. Ritual, imagination, and magic combine to turn Lot 45 into your soft nightmare. Dripping with arts through drag, performance, painting, tarot, and more, Bête Noir draws inspiration from the eerie.

Come as your shadow self, your inner beast, your beautiful darkness. Costumes are not required, but they are highly encouraged.
