Quietly, his successful weekly residency helped GLOW gain global recognition as one of the elite club events in America. Behind the scenes, as Glow’s Music Director, Pete assembled resident DJs, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Johan Gielen, Marco V, Cor Fijneman, George Acosta and Edgar V; a lineup that would compete with any club in the world. In addition, superstars Paul van Dyk and Tiesto have contributed to many memorable nights at GLOW. In 2001, alongside GLOW resident George Acosta, Pete Moutso hosted the "GLOW vs Technoclub" party at club SPACE in Ibiza. He also released his first mix CD on George Acosta's Grooveman Record label, "Glow: Tranceformation".

2002 was just as amazing. In addition to GLOW residents, Pete spun with the likes of Mauro Picotto, Judge Jules, Fergie, Marco V and Gatecrasher's Scott Bond…just to name a few. In addition, Pete showcased his skills at the Miami Winter Music Conference for the "GLOW Sessions" party at Billboard Live spinning alongside Glow residents Ferry Corsten and Armin van Buuren.

In 2003 Pete Moutso’s DJ skills and eye for music has caught the attention of the worlds #1 DJ, Tiesto, so much that he chose Pete to be the first U.S. DJ to do a compilation on his successful Black Hole Recordings label. The double CD titled,‘One Night at Glow’ is available in stores everywhere andfeatures exclusive tracks from Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Marco Vand Armin van Buuren featuring System F. This year, Pete has the honor of mixing the newest “In Trance We Trust” on Black Hole Recordings, to be releaseddomestically in the U.S. for the first time.

Through hard work and dedication, Pete Moutso has established himself as the pioneering sound for GLOW, one of the best club nights in America.

10 QUESTIONS

1: What do you think about the current scene in DC?

I have mixed feelings about the scene. Currently nightlife in
DC is better then ever. People have a wide variety of venues and parties to choose from on any given night. EDM wise, the scene is growing. I think the EDM scene in DC is better then most cities I have been to. You have Glow bringing trance/progressive talent on Saturdays, Cubik/Buzz bringing great talent on Fridays (for over ten years!) and you have cool places like Club 5 bringing amazing house talent on any given night of the week. One encouraging thing is that in DC the EDM scene/DJ culture has grown through internet and live DJ shows at clubs alone…imagine how much more it would grow once Radio, TV (Mtv) and the mainstream media embrace it???

2: What is your definition of a great gig?

When EVERYONE is dancing and drinking and having a great time.

3: Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan?

Lindsey Lohan of course! I like a little meat on my women

4: Any new projects that we should look out for in
2005?

I will be doing the new “In Trance We Trust” CD series on Black Hole Recordings label.

5: Tell us one crazy club moment?

Every weekend for me is crazy. I have so many responsibilities. Making sure DJ’s are picked up on time by car service (seems like none of them are reliable), make sure they are checked in, make sure they are taken to all the interviews, take them to dinner, make sure their rider is met and the equipment/booze they want is in the booth and ready to go, make sure things are smooth at the door, make sure the DJ guest list is fine, make sure everything is cool while they play, make sure the manager is taken care of, make sure the girlfriend is take care of, make sure they have a ride back to the hotel, take them to lunch on Sunday, make sure they make their flight...I HAVE NO WEEKEND!!!

7: Aside from Glow name of your favorite venues?

Crobar NY, Space Miami (I liked the old Space better), Government Toronto, Amnesia Ibiza, Space Ibiza and Pacha Ibiza. I must say that the two best club nights I’ve experience where, Tiesto @ Space during the WMC and Ferry Corsten at Glow this past November.

8: When are we going to here an original Pete Moutso track?

Haahahaaa…everyone wants to know. I am going to do a track with Dan Sampson and I can’t say yet…but I will be doing something with a DJ ranked in the top #5. My goal is to have 2-3 of my own tracks on my upcoming “In Trance We Trust” CD.

9: Who is your favorite DJ?

I can’t just say one. I have seen so many awesome DJ’s!!! However, Ali Dubfire, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and Tiesto are my personal favorites.

10: What DJ’s can we expect at Glow in 2005?

I don’t want Glow to be just a ‘trance’ night. I want all types of music. It was unfortunate that Fur was delayed in opening, because back in June/July/August, I had amazing lineups that were back to back Tiesto, Sasha, Armin, Deep Dish, George Acosta, PVD, Ton TB, Marco V, John Digweed and Ferry Corsten. I wanted to have different sounds every week. That will definitely be my goal in 2005 along with some very big surprises
